Should we be worried?

I love collegehumor.com and I visit it quite often. One of the best things on there is the WYR (Would You Rather). So I posed one of the WYR questions to my friends, which was would you rather own a lightsaber or cure world hunger? An alarming majority answers own a lightsaber. Should we be worried?

Sport Moment of the Year 2008

I was watching Match of the Day and they were discussing sports moment of the year. There is actually quite a few to choose between with the Olympics in Beijing and the Euro Championship in Austria/Switzerland. Actually I shouldn't say Sports Moment, I should change that to most memorable. I think of all of them that has happened so far, I must rank Usain Bolt's ridiculous 100m run that ended with a new world record on 9.69s. There are other moments though. Here's a few.

No words are needed to explain this nerve wrecking final.

Super Bowl XLII - Giants vs Patriots
When Manning manages to escape from all the hands, arms and tackles, and Tyree makes that insane catch, I was out of breath. Check it out here.

F1 World Championship - Hamilton takes it in the last lap
We all thought the same thing. Massa brought it home for Ferrari and Hamilton lost in the last race again. But the most insane things happened and Hamilton was able to finish 5th, which is what was necessary for him to win the Championship.

Euro 2008 - Spain takes it
Spain is known as the best team that never wins. This time they were finally able to win. Never did anyone ever doubt Spain's chances after an incredible performances throughout the tournament. I am especially impressed how Torres outran Lahm to flick in the only goal in the finals. Boo-ya!

NBA All-star Slam Dunk Competition - D.Howard Superman that ho
Howard takes flight and slams it in. When that Orlando shirt came off and there was a Superman shirt underneath, the crowd went nuts. And so did I. Check it out!

Beijing Olympics - Angel Matos embarrass himself
Angel Matos embarrasses himself and Taekwondo in front of a world audience by kicking the referee in head after the ref (Chakir Chelbat) rightfully disqualified him in a bronze match. Awful. Matos was later banned for life.

It seems to me that A LOT of people are unaware of windows autosave function. Students, if your computer crashed and you forgot to save it, don't stress out, windows autosaves everything in a temp folder. You just need to locate it!!

Bath Uni Breakers holdin it down...

So Show In a Week was on this last weekend, and I must say, it was quite amusing. Show In a Week is an event at University of Bath, where arts societies have one week to prepare a show. This years theme was sci-fi. I was initially going to perform with the breakers, but it ended up with that my knee was not able to handle it. So I had to give it up. Anyways, I've uploaded the breakers two performances on youtube. Enjoy
